Dear Parents and Campers

We are all excited about the 2010 Virginia Lacrosse Camp. Interest in the camp and our talent level remains strong. We limit our numbers because we are absolutely committed to a manageable enrollment in order to ensure that we remain the finest lacrosse camp in the country.
I am often asked about a "camp strategy" by prospective candidates. The all-star camps are fine but, there are so many now it is hard to choose. There is no doubt that coming to the campus of a university of your choice is THE BEST way to learn the game and to be evaluated by that staff. (Many of the players on our present UVA roster are former UVA campers.) In turn, it is a unique opportunity to come to know those coaches and that school. Whether you are a young high school player (just beginning those relationships), someone preparing for high school play, getting ready for the "Blue Chip" or a a higher caliber player looking to become better acquainted with Virginia and our coaches, we can fit your needs.
The surrounding area and our University facilities will make this a week to remember. Every camper will experience our practice fields, lighted astro-turf stadium and University housing and dining facilities. The pool, college admission and scholarship information sessions and a tour of the campus will be available. Our counselors will be teachers and friends.
My staff and I look forward to hearing from you and working with you. Enrollment will definitely be limited - don't miss out!
Sincerely,
Dom Starsia
